1. Including Advertisement, web advertisements, etc, it should take about 3 months for filing PERM
2. Chicago Center is faster.
3. No issues for 2 companies filing PERM LCs for you.

Company A would not do H1 extension as B & A belong to the same group. A is the old company & B is the new company. That is how the GC was filed through B.
The H1 petition was filed by employer directly and the RFE is now handed over to an Attorney. This company had RFE’s in the past for their employees & the Attorney replied well and their H1 got approved. The RFE is related to employer except the following two on my self.
Education Evaluation – Can provide
Original Documents – Here is the exact wording:
Provide the original degree and transcripts the beneficiary received from xyz University. Do not send additional photocopies. Do not send an original document different then the one from which the photocopies were obtained.
Question: If I send the original documents, how would I get them back? Please post comments! Also why USCIS is interested in my graduation doc’s rather then post graduation?
As company A would not extend my H1, I’m thinking to have company C transfer my H1 so that if B’s H1 gets denied then I’ll have an option to join C.

Hello,
My employer will be filing for my greencard (labour certification) within the next 2-3 months. I have a valid H1 B visa expiring next year. I was wondering if it is legal to travel outside the country at this stage ?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
You should be good to travel as long as u have a valid H1-b for ur return trip.

my name was not interview with my family.
my family gave interview and embassy asked for original I140 and I824 approval notices to check my eligibility.
i submitted and now after 2 weaks got the follwing reply:
In your case , the I-140 was filed on sept 10, 2001 and approved on october 08, 2003. The visa became available on october 08, 2003 . Form I-824 was not filed within one year of visa became available. <my name> was born on January 03, 1986. because he (me) is above 21 years old an immigrant visa as a derivative beneficiary of Employment third prefrence (e3) immigrant visa category cannot be inssued to <my name>. In order to qualify for a visa, he (me) would need to benifit from CSPA. Since form I-824 was not filed within one year of visa becoming available on October 08, 2003.
<my name> cannot be processed under CSPA.
but i think and i am not sure if i am right or wrong that I824 can be filed after issuance of green card, but at that time my dad ddnt got green card.
SO plz help me with right advice and solution so that i can travel with my family.
my mom and bro got te visa and it will expire in 6 monts and i want to go with them, can i be able to get visa in any case before their visa expire?
i badly need help.

No, it is a regular receipt notice.
Just a quick update, my EAD was returned to USCIS on the 30th day and they sent it back to me on the correct address within 5 business days.

I entered US on H1 and the officer stamped the I-94 expiry date to the expiry date of the passport. I applied for a new passport but forgot about the I-94 expiry date. Does it mean that my H1B is expired and not valid? Can I re-enter US on the same H1B visa. Or, my H1B is no longer valid and I have to use AP?
Please let me know.

ICE officials provided a copy of a new policy memo (http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/7169978.html)dated Aug. 20 that instructs government attorneys to review the court cases of people with pending applications to adjust status based on their relation to a U.S. citizen. ICE estimates in the memo that the effort could affect up to 17,000 cases.
The Department of Homeland Security is systematically reviewing thousands of pending immigration cases and moving to dismiss those filed against suspected illegal immigrants who have no serious criminal records, according to several sources familiar with the efforts.
Opponents of illegal immigration were critical of the dismissals.
"They've made clear that they have no interest in enforcing immigration laws against people who are not convicted criminals," said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, which advocates for strict controls.
In a June 30 memo, ICE Assistant Secretary John Morton outlined the agency's priorities, saying it had the capacity to remove about 400,000 illegal immigrants annually about 4 percent of the estimated illegal immigrant population in the country. The memo outlines priorities for the detention and removal system, putting criminals and threats to national security at the top of the list.
We expect more cases terminations across the United States in the next several months.
